Nursery Rhymes & Children Songs – Wheels on the Bus

Nursery Rhymes & Children Songs – Wheels on the Bus

Babies begin to talk at various ages. They are not able to reproduce signs perfectly in a short time. It is very important to remember your baby is perceptive and knows whenever you’re utilizing a single hand to generate an indication that generally requires two. You are able to get started signing with your baby at any moment. Its the reason babies kick in the womb, so the connection between the leg-kicking portion of the brain and the true leg can be developed.

The children will naturally attempt to imitate your movements. They love repetition and enjoy hearing and singing the same songs over and over. It is a good idea to find kids getting back to backyards and having fun with tricks which were once part of the game. Just enjoy that, kids learn how to react in line with the phrases from a young stage. Your kid will certainly delight in these games. Keep reading to discover exactly ways to teach even preschool kids to quit playing and watch you.

Signs help your kid to identify 1 word from a seemingly endless stream. With just a little repetition you’ll find that a lot of the time your son or daughter will respond positively to the transition happening. It enables a child to develop into an active communicator at a significantly earlier age in place of a passive observer.

The kid starts to learn from conception. He or she will enjoy the rhythm and she will also try to sing it. The children may also cook up conversations occurring between the animals. It’s training the child for the later phases of life. Educating children about the zoo is important and can be accomplished in a classroom.

Nursery Rhymes & Children Songs Help!

You might have gotten a bit stuck in your rut once it comes to writing. Rather than sticking with the very same activities, it is possible to always work to make the previous activities a little more interesting. Having fun when learning is the very best and most efficient method by which children learn. If you may figure out ways to make learning fun and exciting-something your child actually wishes to do with you-then begin whenever possible. Before you commence playing the game, make sure that the participants understand how to play this game. Let them know you are playing a new game and they need to attempt to clap just like you’re, then begin the procedure again. It includes 20-faced die with alphabets on each and every face.

Much like any initial attempt, it is a great idea to find feedback when you learn how to write in rhyme. Many of the easy things we do at home with our children support the growth of literacy so you’re already working to produce your child more literate even when you aren’t actively beginning the procedure to teach your kid to read. As teachers, you can make sure that it happens by implementing some of the greatest yearbook ideas. Make sure it isn’t severe. Don’t forget an RSVP date, it enables you to plan when you’ve got an overall idea of the number of guests are attending ahead of time.

Typically, the word formed thus, is the topic of the poem. In the event the words or tune do not appear to fit, try out another tune. When making a list of charades topics for kids, make sure that they are easy to enact and guess. Inside this activity, one must match rhyming words through pictures. Teaching children rhyming words isn’t a simple undertaking. The chosen phrase needs to be known to each member of your team.

You could keep several pictures of animals in a cardboard box and pull out one at a moment. It’s very like a quick story. It seems this sort of poetry writing is easy and interesting. The poems form a photo of the topic on which they’re centered. In other words, rhyme is fun! Another reason to use rhyme is it makes you grow as an author. It’s often called medial rhyme or inexact rhyme.

It’s possible to still host an excellent party if you’re low on budget. Possessing an afternoon tea party after the infant’s nap can be wise. It can likewise be chosen based on the subject of your party. If you’re looking for easy preschool themes a fantastic place to begin is with animals. A polka dot theme is another excellent option that you may select.

Action songs are lots of fun. Music lets them communicate thoughts and feelings they may not have the ability to verbalize. It is an important aspect of the learning process in life. Then block the song, but keep the audio running. Once you begin writing piggyback songs, you will discover that it’s so much fun, you won’t wish to stop.

7 Game-Changing Ideas for Your School’s Homecoming

7 Game-Changing Ideas for Your School’s Homecoming

Homecoming season has come once again! Hands down, it is the biggest opportunity for building loyalty to your school’s brand and cultivating the next generation of students.

That’s why you can’t afford to let your homecoming be like everyone else’s. Here are 7 game-changing ideas for your college or university’s homecoming to set it apart from the crowd.

1. Sell the benefit for the alumni to attend… not the benefit for your school.

While homecoming for you is all about promoting the school’s brand and securing its future, that’s not why your alumni are coming. Honestly, they’re coming for completely different reasons that have more to do with them than you.

Your alumni are coming to resurrect old friendships, reconnect with mentors and faculty that made a difference in their lives, or maybe even rekindle old romances.

So why are you trying to sell alumni on coming to your homecoming when they’re not coming for you?

Alumni come to your homecoming because there’s something in it for them — so sell them on the benefit they’ll get out of attending.

This simple, but profound, change in your messaging makes all the difference in the world. Show alumni how your homecoming is the perfect place and time to… 1. Have some fun, 2. Be a part of something bigger than themselves, and 3. Stay connected to their college family.

2. Create alternative events to major events… not everyone wants to go to the football game.

The parade, the dance, the bonfire — these are all alternative events that have become tradition at many homecomings across the country.

The beauty of these events is that they’re not sports, giving alumni who’re not that into football, a reason to come. As crazy as it sounds, these people do exist, and they need your attention, too.

Here are some non-football events that do well at homecomings:
  • Homecoming Court
  • Parades
  • Marching Band
  • Bonfire
  • Concerts
  • Picnics
  • Dress-up days like coming to school in school colors
  • Alumni Band
  • Competitions like powder puff football
  • Banquet
3. Celebrate the past, present and future.

There’s little that will make the present state of your college or university more exciting than to see it in the light of the past. And there’s little that makes donors more excited about giving than an inspiring view of the future.

Use homecoming to give students and alumni a panoramic view of where you’ve been, where you are, and where you’re going.
  • Show historic photos of your campus and classes
  • Honor alumni and class years or decades during special events
  • Give tribute to past and present faculty that are especially dear to your students and alum
  • Feature a vision wall or hall to show alumni where you’re going
4. Create a carnival experience.

Remember your hometown carnivals? They were definitely no Disneyland, but they still managed to create that bigger-than-life feeling.

Even without a Disney budget, you can still create that fun, carefree, friendly environment!

Leverage mood-enhancing lights, seasonal decorations, and bright colors everywhere to brighten up the place. Offer delicious, fun food that fills the air with mouth-watering aromas. Put on live music that keeps people’s feet tapping.

5. Set up booths during the event for various initiatives and alumni demographics.

To draw your young alumni to the event, set up at least one booth for the kids.

Kids love to build crafts, create art, or play on musical instruments. Petting zoos, and festival midway games are also sure-fire kid pleasers.

The strength of this idea is in the connection between your college brand and the children.

Have actual college students (especially if they’re childhood education majors or kids ministry majors) work with the kids at these booths to create a strong memory and affinity for the campus and your school.

Set up booths for special initiatives such as capital campaigns.

Homecoming is a perfect time to acquaint alumni with your most visionary initiatives, like capital campaigns. Because alum are being reminded of your school’s rich history, the strong ties of alumni, and the competence of the leaders, your initiatives will have more of an emotional and rational appeal.

Booths featuring your initiatives create conversation points with attendees that would not happen otherwise. Be sure to staff your booths with students or staff who’ve been trained to answer attendees’ questions.

6. Live Stream the events.

In 2016, we started talking about using live streaming technologies as part of video content marketing for colleges and universities.

And this area of content marketing has really exploded since its beginning with Twitter’s Periscope platform!

Now, there are more live streaming services out there like Facebook Live and YouTube, both of which are great options for higher education.

However, if you have to choose between the two, pick Facebook, as that’s where most of your target audiences are hanging out.

Consider live streaming homecoming activities such as your homecoming court, banquet, contests, and parade so that alumni who can’t attend will be able to reconnect with your school and share the event on their social media.

And here’s a guerrilla marketing tip for football…

If your football program won’t allow you to live stream games, try live streaming interviews with players and coaches before, during, and after the games to create buzz around the game.

7. Pass out posters to all kids… they will become more permanent and longer-lasting marketing messages in the years to come.

As you know, I love how print and digital marketing enhance each other. So make sure your event has plenty of the traditional print media like brochures, flyers, bookmarks, etc.

But the most strategic marketing opportunity is passing out posters to all the kids at your homecoming event.

Education marketing doesn’t have to begin with sophomores or seniors in high school. You can start much earlier with posters that tap into the interests and cultural trends of kids as young as 10 years old.

For example, check out my son’s bedroom wall to see how you can begin making connections between your brand and a younger audience.

Posters are long-lasting, durable print materials that keep your brand messaging in front of the generations of alumni family members.

Homecoming is a magical — and profitable — time for alumni and higher education marketers alike.

Enjoy your time during homecoming. Have fun with attendees — but make sure you have these marketing ideas in place before you begin so that you get the very best results from your homecoming marketing efforts.

Ten Alumni Event Marketing Hacks

Ten Alumni Event Marketing Hacks

Fall comes to private college and university campuses with the fragrance of apple cider… and Alumni Relations events! It’s time to crank up your alumni cultivation efforts — so here’s how to get the most out of your alumni event marketing this season.

1. Know what you want… and write it down for the team.

If you don’t have a clear goal for your upcoming alumni events — stop right now!

Go to your campus coffee shop. Sit down with your favorite caffeinated beverage.

And think through what you want out of this event…
  • How will this event help you reach your alumni marketing goals? Like…
    • – Build awareness of your alumni association
    • – Build trust in your school’s brand
    • – Honor alumni who make you proud
  • How will this event help you attain your school’s advancement goals? Like…
    • – Raise pledge support for the annual fund
    • – Begin cultivating major gifts by introducing a new capital campaign
    • – Honor a donor who has advanced your mission
  • What messaging, images, and video assets can best convey to your alumni what this event needs to be? Be sure to bring your camera and gather content, even if you have a shoestring budget.
    • – Private interviews in a greenroom with alumni who are attending the event
    • – Random “on-the-street” interviews of alumni during the event
    • – Pictures of the keynote speaker, honorees, etc.
    • – Student blog posts covering the event as if they were celebrity journalists at the Grammy’s

It’ll be easier to craft your alumni event marketing strategy when you know what each event is supposed to do and the types of marketing media you need to create to make it a success.

Social media marketing means you can get a lot of mileage out of your alumni event without a huge budget.

2. Ride on the power of hashtags.

According to Twitter, a hashtag is “any word or phrase with the # symbol immediately in front of it.” Social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram then organize the content on their sites using those hashtags.

  • Create a hashtag for every event, and encourage event attendees to use it when posting pictures and messages about the event
  • Retweet or share attendees’ posts and place your hashtag in the share
  • Also use generic hashtags so that your event gets more exposure in other hashtag streams
  • Open a stream in your Tweetdeck or Hootsuite dashboard and follow the people who’re using your alumni event hashtags

Check out my recent article to learn more about streams and see how hashtags can amplify your social media marketing messages.

3. Ask for Retweets.

It’s amazing what happens when you just ask. One Hubspot study showed that simply using the words “Please Retweet” generated four times more retweets!

4. Let your inner child go crazy with selfies.

No matter how much groaning you hear about it — people love selfies! And they share them…

So assign at least one student, staff, or faculty member the selfie stick and gather executives, alumni, and other guests for group selfies.

(And remember, put your hashtag on them when you post them.)

Taking selfies with attendees at your alumni event will expand your social media marketing reach.

5. Promote the event on social media before and after the event.

Post pictures and videos of memorable moments before and after your alumni event. It creates energy to see the setup and preparation for an event, so don’t be afraid to…

  • Show your students or staff working hard to get the banquet room ready
  • Share pictures of crews prepping the football field
  • Broadcast updates while the symphony, orchestra, or band rehearses for your alumni event
  • Post messages from alumni encouraging their peers to attend
  • Thank attendees with post-event pics, videos of tear down, and “backstage” interviews with staff and alumni
6. Recruit students to help you with your alumni event.

Especially if you have a vibrant foreign exchange student program or scholarship program, you need to get these students out on the floor mingling and meeting your alumni.

Alumni love meeting the new generation of students and hearing how your school is making a profound difference in their lives!

Assign students to “escort” your VIP’s, like donors or high profile alumni, around campus and during your alumni event.

These students can assure that your guests are where they need to be and are getting an example of your finest students. Be sure to adequately train the students and help give them tools to provide the very best experience.

7. Be generous with the freebies.

Give your attendees something to remember the evening with brandable items such as T-shirts, polo shirts, and string backpacks.

Also, this is the perfect time to put your print marketing to work for you.

Insert brochures, magazines, flyers, yearbooks, and other high quality print items in alumni goodie bags to take home and share with their friends.

8. Enhance your alumni event with rich media.

There are so many ways that you can set your alumni event apart by involving the strengths of your academic and artistic programs.

  • Chamber choir
  • Jazz band
  • Orchestra
  • Drama
  • Literary or poetry readings
  • Art shows

The point is… get away from the ordinary and create an event your alumni will never forget.

9. Honor the parents.

Did you know that mothers are the number 1 influencer of college decisions?

Make sure your event has a way to connect and honor the parents that attend with their children. More than likely, they’ll be the ones making the gifts later in your year-end fundraising campaigns.

  • Put up a picture booth or picture stand for parents to take photos with their children
  • Host a separate luncheon or meet-and-greet for parents to answer their most pressing questions such as safety, financial aid, and student support
10. Make networking happen.

This one might be the most obvious one on the list — but I really encourage you to think out of the box on this one.

Every alumni marketer knows that alumni events should connect alumni to each other so everyone benefits from the relationships.

But have you ever gone to an event where you’re expected to make friends, like networking mixers?

Then you know that they produce more anxiety than enthusiasm to come. So throw out alumni pre-event worries by…
  • Centering your alumni event around an activity such as volunteering on campus, a 5k run, a harvest festival, etc.
  • Offering child care (The administrative work necessary for childcare can be tough — but this is a huge concern for many alumni)
  • Outline travel, lodging, and marketing options in your pre-event marketing materials
  • Seating or grouping alumni by class year or affinity group so they’re with their peers

By making networking less stressful, alumni at your events will be more likely to enjoy themselves and share about their experiences on social media.

Your next alumni event can be the talk of the alumni community.

With these alumni event marketing hacks, you’ll have all of your marketing potential running full blast.

And with decades of alumni marketing experience, the Caylor Solutions team is here to help you get the most out of your alumni events.

kitchen remodeling contractors Chantilly VA

kitchen remodeling contractors Chantilly VA kitchen remodeling contractors Chantilly VA (703) 293-5037 Best kitchen remodeling contractors Chantilly VA The Benefits of Remodeling Your Kitchen When we are interested in doing something, such as a home improvement project, there are many of us who are unsure what we should do, if we should even do anything at all. When it comes to deciding on a plan or a course of action, many individuals make the decision to focus on the good and the bad of the situation, this is most commonly referred to as the pros and the cons. If you are thinking about remodeling your kitchen, you may be wondering what the plus side of doing so is, otherwise know as the pros. Well, if you are interested in remodeling your kitchen, you are in luck. There are an unlimited number of ways that you can benefit from having your kitchen remodeled. Perhaps, the greatest pro or positive benefit to having your kitchen remodeled is the increase in your home's value. When it comes to kitchen remodeling and home values, you will find that, in most cases, a home's value increases with a remodeling project, including a kitchen remodeling project. Although a large number of homes see an increase in their value, thanks to a kitchen remodeling project, not all of them do. Honestly, it all depends on the quality of the remodeling done. If a remodeling project is poor in quality or it may later lead to additional problems with the home, you will find that the value with not increase, but it might even decrease. Another pro to remodeling your kitchen is the fact that you will, essentially, be getting a new kitchen. Although some homeowners choose to only remodel a small portion of their kitchen, others go right out and remodel the whole thing. Whether you make the decision to simply change your kitchen countertops and cabinets, or change your kitchen counters, cabinets, sink, oven, floor tiles, and wall paint, there is a good chance that your kitchen may appear as if it is a whole, brand new kitchen. As a homeowner, you may enjoy the change. One of the many other pros to kitchen remodeling is one that you might not necessarily have thought of before. That pro is who can do the remodeling. As a homeowner, you have complete control over what you would like done, as well as who can do it. This means that if you would like to do your own kitchen remodeling, you can easy do so. If you do not have the time or the skill needed to remodel your own kitchen, you could also hire a professional to do it for you. You also have complete control over who you hire to remodel your kitchen, as well as how much you want to pay. That is one of the many pros to having your kitchen remodeling, even if you can't do it yourself; there is someone else out there who can. As previously mentioned, as a homeowner, you have complete control over what will and will not happen in your home. In addition to deciding whether or not you will do your own kitchen remodeling, you can also decide which type of remodeling is done. If you need to fix a few repairs, you could easily remodel only a portion of your kitchen, but if you would like a whole new look, you could remodel your whole kitchen; the decision is yours to make. You can also decide how you would like each portion of your kitchen remodeled. For instance, if you are interested in replacing your kitchen counter, you can easily find and choose the new materials, supplies, and designs that you want to use. The choice that you have is just one of the many pros to kitchen remodeling. Although there are a number of pros to kitchen remodeling, there are also a number of cons. Cons are another way to describe disadvantages. The biggest con or disadvantage to remodeling your kitchen is the fact that it can not only be costly, but time consuming. You may be able to recuperate the cost of your repairs, if and when you go to sell your home, but nothing is guaranteed. Since there are a number of pros and cons to kitchen remodeling, you will need to decide which is best for you. Perhaps, the best way to do this is to decide whether or not the pros outweigh the cons. Get more info at http://dmvkitchens.com/

Courting the Reluctant: Admissions Marketing to Those Who Won’t Commit

Courting the Reluctant: Admissions Marketing to Those Who Won’t Commit
Marry You?! I’m Just Here for the Speed-Dating Round!

Traditionally, higher education website lead gathering has gone something like this: “Susie Prospect, fill out my lengthy and detailed web form so that I can market to you.” It may not seem like you’re asking for that much of a commitment, but for today’s prospective traditional student, you might as well pop out the diamond ring and propose in the middle of the speed-dating round. They’re just “playing the field.” They want to remain in control, and that means remaining anonymous for as long as possible. Asking them for more than a name and email address can send them scurrying somewhere else. And they WILL find what they’re looking for somewhere else if you don’t provide it.

From Speed Dating to First Date: The Admissions Marketing Funnel

As good admissions counselors, enrollment professionals and higher education marketers, you’ve been taught that if you don’t know the demographic details of your prospect, you can’t market appropriately and effectively and that your admissions marketing efforts could be wasted. While having demographic details can certainly help focus your admissions marketing efforts, there are general principles that can be applied that will help move these undefined prospects from “speed dating” in general to considering a “date” with your institution specifically. Here are a few suggestions.

Start Small

Most prospects will trade a name and email address for something they consider valuable. A downloadable e-book, guide or resource that will aid in the prospect’s college search is a great place to start. Note: Make sure it is truly useful information and not just a commercial for your institution.

Next Step

Once you have a prospect’s email address, you have their permission to market to them. However, this is not the time to “go for the ask!” Continue to provide truly useful and helpful information that will aid them in their college search without asking for anything in return.

Just a Little More

Once you have delivered several pieces of truly useful and engaging content via email, you’ve earned the right to see if that prospect would like to learn more about YOU.  This can be done with a higher-value deliverable that will be attractive enough for the prospective student to be willing to complete a more detailed contact form in exchange. Consider tailoring the deliverable based upon the information you receive. For example, high school freshmen and sophomores might receive a different deliverable than high school juniors or seniors.

The Successful Proposal

By delivering truly valuable material, you have earned your prospect’s trust and built rapport. In return, they’ve entrusted you with more detailed information, and you can now market more specifically to their demographic and eventually “propose” a “committed relationship” with your institution. And you’ll all live happily ever after.
